There is a significant group of healthcare workers who are hesitant about COVID vaccination, in England we have the issue of mandatory COVID vaccination.
The aim of this CGDent event is to allay and address their fears as much as we are able and allow them to make their own informed decision.

Sarah Buxton - Director & Solicitor, Employment & HR
Sarah Buxton is a HR and Employment Solicitor and a Director of FTA Law. She has advised, assisted and supported dental practice owners and managers for over 10 years. She drafts bespoke employment and associate agreements together with advising on day to day issues such as disciplinary, grievances and redundancy. She also represents clients in the Employment Tribunal when matters end up in a dispute. Sarah features in dental publications, webinars and public speaking engagements. She is the legal advisor for ADAM (Associate of Dental Adiministrators and Managers), the BDSHT (British Dental Society of Hygienists and Therapists) and is also a trustee of Bridge2Aid.
Prof. Jason Leitch
Clinical Director, Healthcare Quality and Strategy
Jason has worked for the Scottish Government since 2007. In January 2015, he was appointed as The National Clinical Director in the Health and Social Care Directorate.
Jason is an Honorary Professor at the University of Dundee. From 2005 to 2006 he was a Quality Improvement Fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, in Boston, sponsored by the Health Foundation. Jason is also a trustee of the UK wing of the Indian Rural Evangelical Fellowship which runs orphanages in southeast India.
He qualified as a dentist in 1991 and was as a Consultant Oral Surgeon in Glasgow. He has a doctorate from the University of Glasgow, a Masters in Public Health from Harvard and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
