The first of a two-part webinar series in collaboration with the College of General Dentistry, presented by Caroline Persaud and Mike Brindle, explores the benefits that Clinical Dental Technicians can provide with Domiciliary Denture Care.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic many medical services have reverted to remote access. The inference being medical professionals can accommodate and access their patients in a more rapid manner leading to a quicker resolution for patient.

Dentures are more commonly associated with an ageing demographic, whereby mobility issues and additional assistance may be deciding factors when opting for denture treatment. Domiciliary denture provision may be one solution to assist concerned patients and their relatives/care team.

Aims

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the role of Clinical Dental Technicians in delivering domiciliary denture care.
