The use of cone beam CT scanning in the implant planning and the regulations around CBCT referrals, justifications, operating and reporting.

  • To understand conventional and digital planning and the role of the cone bean CT in implant planning
  • To correctly refer a patient for a cone bean CT scan
  • To understand the different levels of training and roles within the Health Protection Agency Guidelines, and the European CBCT Guidelines
  • To use CBCT as a visual consent tool
