Dr Kiaran Weil and Dr Kathy Wilson describe the evolution of Bridge 2 Aid's teaching model to upskill rural healthcare workers in Oral Urgent Treatment, in rural Tanzania. They discuss how transferable this model is to wider disciplines.

They explore challenges in providing oral health provision in a rural setting, and some ways to address them. They discuss Bridge 2 Aid's teaching model, how it evolved and the challenges they face in providing a sustainable programme of training, teaching, and assessment.
