  • About This Course

A panel discussion to explore ethical global healthcare partnerships, the challenges involved, mutual benefits, achievements, lessons learnt and continuous improvements, including the impact of COVID-19.  It includes an overview of the Maldent Project  - a partnership between Glasgow University and  University of Malawi College of Medicine to create a Dental School in Malawi and establish a National Oral Health Policy in Malawi.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course you will understand of some real examples of ethical global healthcare partnerships, the challenges they face, the benefits of cross-sector working, role of reflexivity and personal relationships, embracing co-development and mutual learning and continuous improvement and the impact of moving to virtual due to COVID-19 and how this has hampered or enabled partnerships.
