It is important that staff and patients feel safe in the practice environment, early  detection and management of situations that can lead to conflict will create an atmosphere of calm professionalism.

 Conflict in the workplace affects both patients and staff and causes a negative impact on the standards and services delivered in your practice.

Aims

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding relating to the common signs and causes of conflict. An overview of how to be able to successfully intervene to either prevent or resolve these situations, is given.

  • To recognise the signs for potential conflict.
  • To successfully deal with conflict.
