This live interactive webinar for the entire dental team will both introduce the opportunities available for the dental team to get involved in smoking cessation programmes and also signpost practices to a pilot scheme where funding is available to run a smoking cessation in dental practices.

 

 

Dr. Richard Holliday is one of the leads for the The ENHANCE-D Study (ENHANCing smoking cEssation interventions in Dentistry). The study will evaluate the impact of primary care dental professionals providing 'in house' enhanced smoking cessation interventions such as nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or e-cigarettes on both quit rates and oral health parameters. It will be recruiting participants from 56 dental practices across England and Scotland.

  • It will discuss e-cigarettes and other smoking cessation methods.
