This is the first in a series of 10 webinars
2 x 30 minute live lectures (plus Q&A)
The importance of correct history and examination of a patient's complaint is essential in leading to the correct diagnosis, particularly in order to deal with tooth pain effectively.
Once an endodontic diagnosis has been made, the decision-making process for deciding whether or not a tooth can in fact be saved is the next key step in treatment planning. Advising the patient of preoperative warnings, risks of the treatment, costs, and likely prognosis of restoration are essential in the consent process.
Learning outcomes:
- Revise the key steps in history and examination
- Discuss Special tests required for correct endodontic diagnosis
- Discuss the factors that affect a tooth's restorability and prognosis related to endodontic outcome
