Ms Jasmine Cachia Mintoff
Locum Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry
Ms Cachia Mintoff is currently a Locum Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital, where she initially worked to begin her specialist training in paediatric dentistry. She moved on and completed her senior registrar specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at King’s College Hospital and East Surrey Hospital before returning to the Eastman Dental Hospital earlier this year.
During her time at King’s College Hospital, she was actively involved in the joint Oral Medicine–Paediatric Dentistry clinic, developing expertise in the multidisciplinary management of children with complex oral mucosal and medically-compromised conditions.
Her clinical interests include patient-centred care of children and adolescents, the interface between oral medicine and paediatric dentistry, and dental anomalies, with a special interest in children with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Ms Cachia Mintoff is committed to delivering evidence-based care and fostering collaboration across specialities to improve oral health outcomes in young patients.
In 2025 she co-authored the review article A Review of Common Oral Medicine Conditions in Children, published in Primary Dental Journal, which provides a comprehensive guide for dental practitioners managing paediatric soft-tissue and oral medicine presentations. She continues to engage in clinical research and postgraduate education, with the aim of translating emerging evidence into everyday practice in paediatric dentistry.
