Shiv Qualified in 1985 with a BDS (Hons) Newcastle University and is the owner of 3 general dental practices and 2 Orthodontic dental practices.
He is a Part-time Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Newcastle Dental School and Postgraduate Dental Tutor with Health Education North East.He has interests in dental politics and is a Exec Member of BDA General Dental Practice Committee (GDPC). He has previously worked as Associate Dento-Legal adviser with Dental Protection and past chair of Conduct and Health Committees in GDC Fitness to Practice Panel.
Shiv was awarded an MBE in 2009 for services to Dentistry in Newcastle/Gateshead
