Caroline Willis

Caroline is the Unit Head at the Public Health England Food Water and Environmental (FW&E) Microbiology Laboratory at Porton, providing technical and scientific leadership for the laboratory. The lab provides advice and testing for a wide range of food and water sample types, including those from Local Authorities, healthcare settings and commercial customers. Caroline has a particular interest in the microbiology of FW&E samples associated with healthcare, and led a working group to develop guidelines for examining food, water and environmental samples from the healthcare environment.
