Vice Dean of FGDP
Having qualified from Edinburgh Dental School in 1993 I decided to pursue a career in General Dental Practice and have now worked in Holywood Northern Ireland for almost 28 years.
I was encouraged early on to get involved in FGDP and joined the local board in 1998 this has led me down a very rewarding path in dentistry and I am currently Vice Dean of FGDP. Today I wear many hats outside of my clinical practice and have served in numerous dental committees over the years which has only led to greater satisfaction in my career.
I continue to endeavour to encourage and enable my female colleagues to become more involved in non clinical dental activity and take up leadership roles.
