  • About This Course
  • Legislation

This module outlines the key changes from the Data Protection Act (DPA) to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how this may affect you and your business.

This is a European piece of legislation and even though the UK has chosen to leave the EU, GDPR will be adopted in full by the UK.

Currently the Data Protection Act (DPA) controls how your personal information is used by organisations and businesses.

On 25 May 2018 the Data Protection Act (DPA) will be replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

There will be several key changes that you will need to be aware of.
