This is the third webinar in this series in collaboration with CGDent, which encompass an overview of Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics, clinical cases for learners to develop an appreciation of the clinical aspects of the patient journey, as well as anatomy, and finally complications that can arise when delivering cosmetic injectables.

This recorded webinar gives you an appreciation of the complications that occur in the immediate, short and long term post-delivery of cosmetic injectables and management strategies, with a greater focus on vascular occlusions.

Aims

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the complications that occur in the immediate, short and long term post-delivery of cosmetic injectables and management strategies with a greater focus on vascular occlusions.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

  • Understand the various complications that can occur after delivering cosmetic injectables.
  • Identify and manage a vascular occlusion including: causes and implications; recognition of vascular occlusions; immediate management; preparing Hyaluronidase; Hyaluronidase protocol and reducing the risk of vascular occlusion.

Learning Outcomes

After completing this course the learner will gain an understanding of:
