Dr Amin Aminian

Amin Aminian qualified from Liverpool University in 1993.

He moved to Manchester in 1997 to undertake a Masters degree in fixed and removable prosthodontics at the University Dental Hospital Manchester. The degree was awarded in 2000 and he gained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow, MFDS RCPS, in the same year. He completed a 4-year specialist training programme in Prosthodontics in 2004 and was awarded the MRD (Prosthodontics) from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in the same year becoming registered on the GDC Specialist List in Prosthodontics.

His referral practice is based in Cheshire and is limited to prosthodontics (predominantly implant reconstructions), management of the worn and failing dentition, where he works within a multi-disciplinary team.

He lectures on the Masters programme in AGDP at Birmingham University and is an honorary lecturer at Manchester University where he is involved in the teaching of postgraduate students and supervising research projects. He also lectures on the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry (FGDP) and is a co-organiser of the ARC (Aesthetic Restorative Course) programme.
