Dr Melbourne Carew

Melbourne qualified from Newcastle University in 2005 with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery, working in dental practice. 

​He then taught at the Newcastle Dental School as a Honorary Clinical Lecturer, and in 2010 became a Principal Dentist.

​Melbourne has undergone extensive training around the world, achieving a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry with the Faculty of General Dental Practice in 2012 and also completed his implant training.

Melbourne is interested in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is Primary Care Dental Champion promoting research in primary care, North Tyneside Research Champion, Honorary treasure of the FGDP Northern Division and a member of the North East Private Dentist executive committee.
