Sue Baker

Sue Baker is a recently retired GDP who volunteers for Dentaid UK helping provide emergency dentistry for people who are homeless, vulnerable, or just unable to access NHS dental treatment for whatever reason. She works in this capacity alongside her part time role with Health Education England as Training Programme Director on the Dental Foundation Training programme in Yorkshire and the Humber. She is keen to see the next generation of young dentists and their trainers experience the benefits of volunteering, gaining experience whilst providing much needed care. Sue has experience of NHS practice in deprived areas in Yorkshire and has volunteered with Dentaid setting up a dental clinic in Qalandarabad Pakistan.
