Did you know ProDental CPD not only provides a vast library of verifiable CPD, but also general (non-verifiable) CPD. Currently, the GDC require dental professionals to undertake a minimum amount of verifiable and general (non-verifiable) CPD within their 5 year cycle.
Dentists
You must carry out at least 250 hours of CPD every five years. At least 75 of these hours need to be 'Verifiable' CPD.
Dental Care Professionals
Your must carry out 150 hours of CPD every five years. At least 50 of these hours need to be 'Verifiable' CPD.
ProDental CPD provides general (non-verifiable) CPD for members in the Resource area.
This is can be found by clicking on the symbol located at the top right of the screen which will then open the resources area.
We are continually updating this area with useful articles to help you meet the general (non-verifiable) CPD requirements.
Completing your general (non-verifiable) CPD is an opportunity for you to advance your development as a dental professional and to take personal responsibility for continual learning. You should select subjects to study which will enhance your practice and support your PDP (Personal development Plan), ensuring you provide the best possible service to your patients.
