Dentists in lycra charity bike ride

Image representing Dentists in lycra charity bike ride

Our clinical director Robert Dyas Joined over 40 dentists and technicians cycling over 450 miles through the Pyrenees for the dental charity Bridge2Aid. Travelling from the east coast Cap D'Adge through to the west coast San Sebastian and climbing over 33,000 feet, this was certainly a challange!

Robert explains 'I have always been an active supporter of bridge2Aid having been out to Tanzania and seen the fantastic work they do and as a very keen cyclist, the opportunity was too good to miss. Its something I would never have done without Straumann, Just pedal and Bridge2Aid.'

The group did an amazing job and should be so proud of their hardwork for such a worthy cause.  Robert reveals 'I've made some life long friends, pushing ourselves to the absolute limit physically and getting through it together. The constant hills/mountains and riding for 5 days in this type of environment was really tough but very rewarding'.
