Christine Battison Joins Agilio Software’s Dental Clinical Board

The UK’s leading provider of healthcare operations software, Agilio Software announces a further addition to its Dental Clinical Board.

Agilio Software is pleased to announce that Christine Battison has joined its Dental Clinical board, adding a high level of expertise in dental training and education to the current panel.

Christine Battison is Group Clinical Manager for A&U Dental Surgeries, a family-owned group of practices. She has worked in NHS and private dentistry since qualifying in 2000, as well as the community dental service, oral surgery services and corporate leadership. Christine has a deep passion for education, having been a dental foundation educational supervisor and then a training programme director for dental foundation training, as well as undertaking postgraduate certificates in teaching and learning and in mentoring, coaching and leadership. She has mentored many dentists, helping them to maintain successful careers and provide the best patient care to their local population.

Christine Battison said: ‘I am really excited to be joining the Agilio Dental Clinical Board. I have always had a passion for clinical education, training and development and am looking forward to working with a group of highly skilled individuals to ensure clinician professional development continues to meet the needs and demands of dentistry today and in the future.’

•Fiona Ellwood BEM – Academic Lead and Moderator at Bangor University (Dental Nursing), mental health wellness campaigner, and doctoral researcher 

•Dr Fiona Sandom – Dental Therapist, DPSU Lead and North Wales Reginal Lead for Health Education and Improvement Wales 

•Ian Mills – Associate Professor of Primary Care Dentistry, Peninsula Dental School, past Dean of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons of England 

•Dr Ben Wild – Chief Clinical Officer at Riverdale Healthcare 

•Dr Gerry Morrow – Medical Director and Editor, Agilio Software 

•Dr David Fraser – Head of Clinical Development – Dental, Agilio Software
