Dr Kathy Wilson

Currently based at Newcastle upon Tyne School of Dental Sciences as Associate Specialist/Clinical lecturer in Sedation and Special Care Dentistry. Kathy is involved with undergraduate/post graduate teaching, research activity and national working groups and holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Education. She lectures both nationally and internationally and has published widely.

Kathy has been volunteering with the Dental Charity Bridge2Aid for the past 14 years in a training, research and advisory capacity and is currently a member of the Clinical Advisory Group. Working alongside her colleagues in developing a robust educational programme in Oral Urgent Treatment for rural health care workers in Tanzania she has gained a wide breadth of experience in this field.
