This course is particularly important to me as a cdt.I am always keen to ensure no impression material goes down the patients throats.I always elevate the head with the mouth open wide so to have clear vision any access to the posterior aspect of the throat.I WILL BE UNDERGOING emergency life saving course soon.

Essential training for any dental professional, when treating a patient in the dental chair it poses many risks to the patient. This course was very informative and gave some good advice for limiting the risks where possible. I learnt about how to treat a pregnant lady if she had an airway obstruction, something I have often wondered how to treat. This course is something that will be very useful for me in my current role as a dental nurse in order to keep my patients safe.
