FAQ

What do I get with Premium Membership?
Get everything that RD Surgery and Education has to offer with our Premium Membership!
Premium membership is an annual membership for individuals. With it you get unlimited access to all our CPD/CE courses, videos and articles. Premium Membership is suitable for all the dental team.

Is there a time limit to completing courses?
The courses in the Virtual Classroom are available for 365 days from enrolment.

How do I register?
To become a premium member, click on the Premium Membership tab at the top of the web page or the ‘Join Now’ on the advertisement . This will then take you to the Shop where you can purchase your membership. You will need to fill in your details and add the Premium membership to the shopping cart. You will then need to register in the check out area or check out as a guest. You will then need to provide billing information and payment details. If you experience difficulties please contact us at info@rdsurgery.co.uk.

Do I have to pay extra to get my verifiable a CPD certificate?
No! All CPD certificates are included in your annual Premium Membership once you have completed the test.

Is it safe to pay online for our membership / courses?
Yes, it is safe to pay online for or membership and courses. RD Online Dental Education use the the Worldpay secure online payment mechanism to accept membership and course fees. RD Online Dental Education are committed to protecting your privacy online.

What if I don’t want to pay online?
You can alternatively pay by cheque. Write a cheque for the amount indicated for the course / membership payable to “RD Surgery and Education”. Please write your name (as you want it to appear on the certificate), GDC number, address, email and the course code/name on the reverse and post it to the following address:
RD Online Dental Education, Orchard Barn, Court Lane, Ashford, Derbyshire, DE45 1QG.
There is an additional £10 charge per cheque for this - to get the correct price add the £10 to your correct membership fee which can be found here.

What if I don’t get a membership activation confirmation e-mail?
Check your spam/ junk mail as the e-mail may have been filtered into there. Contact us at info@rdsurgery.co.uk.   

Why can’t I view the online videos or get any sound?
To view the videos you need to have the following plugins installed on your computer. Download by clicking on the images:

I have successfully completed my course. How do I get my CPD certificate?
If you are not already a premium member you will need to register as one to complete verifiable CPD and receive a certificate ( see How do I register? for further information).

  • Select and complete the CPD test of your choice.
  • Pass the test
  • Download your CPD certificate (will be automatically and instantly sent to you)

What do I do if I forget my password?
In the ‘Member login’ area select forgotten password and enter your e-mail address. We will then send you your Username and password.

How can I advertise a course on your website?
In the ‘Contact Us’ area click on the link shown as below:

You will then need to complete the Course Submission Form and wait for a response from our team. Please note there is normally a £40 administration fee.

What if I can’t find a course I am interested in?
Please contact us and suggest a topic to info@rdsurgery.co.uk.

Why is the membership fee so low?
The online courses are supported by funding from our partners. Most of the payment is to cover administrative costs.
