Reception course - From first call to long term patient

This course is specifically focused on those members of the practice team who are involved in handling new and even existing patient telephone enquiries and emails. The programme is particularly applicable to reception staff, however, clinicians, treatment coordinators and practice managers have taken part on previous courses and benefitted greatly themselves.

Name the categories of child abuse and recognise the signs and indicators of each
Identify the relevant legislation and guidance that provides the framework for safeguarding young people
State how to respond to concerns about the safety and welfare of a child/young person using their organisations’ child protection policy and procedures
